About this blog

I have been a licensed foster parent for more than 12 years. I was a founding member of the AZ Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents. I served on the State Foster Care Review board including terms as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Executive Committee. I currently serve on the CPS Oversight Committee. I am not an expert on foster and adoption, but I do have some experience.

In Arizona we are in the midst of the greatest opportunity to make meaningful changes in how we care for our State’s most vulnerable children. With any meaningful change, it requires hard work and those making the change must be accountable for making changes that will make for a better way to care for our children.

Our goal is not to look backwards with our blog and this site, but to look forward. To ensure that the changes that are the works are truly meaningful.

Your feedback, comments and experience will be helpful in make sure this accomplished. Please join us! Like our page and then add your own experience here.

All we ask is that you be respectful and look forward, not backwards.

Thank you for helping!
